A SHIFT IN HOUSEHOLD DYNAMICS
With three beautiful children, the Walsh* family decided to support mum Chelsea in returning to work as a partner in a local law firm. To facilitate this, husband Peter is now managing the household with the support of Finer Details.
CHALLENGE
A new household dynamic; Mum Chelsea returns to full time work while Dad Peter takes on the role of primary caretaker and household manager. A move to a bigger home also means more domestic responsibilities but the Walsh family is dedicated to their lifestyle which is centred around the freedom to spend weekends together. This shift in roles, space and priorities has led to household duties slipping through the cracks.
SOLUTION
Outsource, organise and plan; Peter outsourced cleaning out the garage to us to give him more time with his kids. We also created a household schedule for the family to keep track of events and activities as well as managed multiple trade professionals as they came in to finish off aspects of the new home. Peter also requested for help planning a family holiday over Christmas.
