Our clients range in age, demographic, occupation and needs but one thing they have in common is the need for some order and organisation and the place to start is to ensure they have some bedroom bliss!

Case Study

Debbie (obviously not her real name) has two primary school aged children, a husband who travels a lot with work and is a busy working girl to boot.

To say the least, life is busy and she is often grabbing things as she rushes from pickups to drop offs and everything in between.  Her car is where she spends most of her time but when she comes home she needs some peace, a sanctuary – some bedroom bliss!

We are not talking rose petals and fan waving male models, although come to think of it that would be nice eye candy!

But a place to relax and unwind and where the stresses of the day can be dulled ready to face another.

To start

  • We suggested all items that were not bedroom related be moved out of the room and re housed elsewhere
  • Advised that she remove all items that did not have a calm and soothing effect (harsh lighting, work stuff, pictures of in-laws etc…)
  • Decorate in colours that she loved and make her feel relaxed – a fluffy pillow, differnt light fitting and scented candle can make all the difference.  Make sure candles are housed in a non flamable container and away from little fingers for safety.
  • It only takes less than a minute as you go to put items away in their proper place – hang clothing, dirty items in the wash, rubbish in the bin

With the clutter gone and the room now with a feeling of harmony, Debbie has a place to go and de-stress when the chaos of life reigns.  Whatever your lifestyle throws at you have one space where you can escape.  Have a sanctuary that gives you a few moments of peace in a very hectic week and life will become that little bit easier.
